This 548 Ha farm is a Nature reserve situated on the KZN/Free state border at the top of Normandien pass. The farm is registered in a company which alleviate excessive transfer costs. There are two houses on the farm; House 1- comprises of seven bedrooms, sunroom, dining room, lounge with fireplace, kitchen with coal stove, toilet and bathroom. House 2- this log house comprises a double volume open plan lounge/dining room/kitchen with 2 rooms and a shower under the staircase leading to the loft. There is a main bedroom with bathroom in the loft and a wooden deck that offers a scenic view of the valley.
There is no ESCOM power, the owners make use of a generator or solar power.
The perennial Ncandu River and several natural mountain streams are running through the property. There are also waterfalls as well as several fountains and a large earth dam. Water for the houses are obtained from a borehole and fountain respectively.
